Masunga returns to active politics

FRANCISTOWN: Former Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Itekeng ward councillor Sam Masunga has confirmed that he is returning to active politics after quitting his employ as a research officer at the Francistown East constituency office.

This despite having, for nearly four weeks, constantly rubbished claims that he intends to quit his government job to focus on politics. 

Today (Tuesday), he told Mmegi Online that he left his position as a research officer last week Thursday. His five-year contract was supposed to come to an end late in 2019.
