FRANCISTOWN: President Mokgweetsi Masisi is leaving no stone unturned in his re-election bid for the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) presidency billed for the weekend in Kang.

Masisi ascended to the State presidency on April 1, 2018 as a successor to former president Ian Khama and he is defending his seat ahead of this year’s general elections.

Faced with a presidential challenge from his former Cabinet colleague, Pelonomi-Venson-Moitoi, the President is seemingly not leaving anything to chance. Although already tipped to win the race with majority of the party structures rallying behind him, Masisi is giving the campaign his very all. He takes advantage of any moment to canvass for support.
