When handing over the 100, 000th plot in Kanye this week, President Mokgweetsi Masisi could not help but reserve some special praise for the Minister of Lands and Water Affairs (MLWA), Dr Kefentse Mzwinila. Back in 2022 during the State of the Nation Address (SONA), the President set a mammoth task for Mzwinila to deliver a target of 100, 000 plots to citizens, which he has accomplished.

“Today, we are gathered here as it has been stated to give away the 100, 000th plot and I have to say this really makes me even more happy that we are here to show the results of the targets I had set. For Mzwinila, I am happy that he carried out the instruction I had set and achieved it,” Masisi said.

Elated over the achieved set target (100 00 plots), Masisi encouraged other ministries in Botswana to take notes from Mzwinila and accomplish the set targets by the State. Land Boards, which have helped in achieving this target as as well Mzwinila, were hailed with accolades." I wish that other ministries could do more for their services offered or at least achieve half of what Mzwinila’s ministry has achieved,” Masisi praised the Ministry of Lands.
