Mashatu Game Reserve robbery suspects out on bail

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Four of the five men accused of breaking into Mashatu Game Reserve offices and stealing 17 firearms and live ammunition were on Tuesday granted bail by Selebi-Phikwe magistrate Wanani Ngebani.

While the unnamed fifth suspect is still at large, those granted bail are Serumola Ngwako, 35, Kwati Kwati, 47 and Kealeboga Moshakga all from Bobonong, and 34-year-old Motlhabani Beleme alias Spirit from Palapye. 

The five are accused of acting jointly and with common intent to break into the game reserve general manager's office and stealing ten .375 rifles, four .458 rifles, three 12 bore SG/BD, 40x .458 live ammunition and two gun safes among other office items.
