Man's life hangs in the balance after stabbing

A 36-year-old man is in critical condition at Princess Marina Hospital after he was found on Saturday night lying in a pool of blood with a deep stab wound to his back, believed to have been inflicted with a sharp object.

The man, who is yet to be identified, was discovered by a passerby on the streetside bleeding and alerted the police. He was rushed for medical attention and remains unresponsive due to the extent of his injuries.

Confirming the incident, No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae, said police are still trying to piece together what transpired, as the victim is too weak to give a statement.
