Man slays girlfriend, hangs himself

PALAPYE: A 20-year-old woman was found lifeless lying in a pool of blood and his 26-year-old boyfriend hanging from the rafters of the two and a half house rented by the latter’s brother in Mmadinare.

The incident happened on Friday when the rightful tenant of the house was away. The deceased man was from the northeast, and the woman is from Mmadinare.

The two were known lovers. Their relationship started on one of the previous visits of the man to Mmadinare. When he committed the alleged crime, the man was on another visit to his brother.
