Man sends girlfriend on errands, commits suicide

FRANCISTOWN: A 50-year-old Monarch man was recently found hanging by the rope in his rented room.

According to Francistown Police Station commander, Superintendent Mogomotsi Kesupile they received a report recently of a man who was found hanging from the rafters of his rented house in Monarch Area 2.

He said an investigation is ongoing and it remains unknown why the deceased took his own life. Kesupile shared that during the fateful day, the deceased man sent his girlfriend to his home village of Matobo to check on his yard and run other errands.
