Malatswai man dies of Independence night Okapi stabbing

Police in Serowe are investigating an incident in which a 31-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood by the roadside on Independence night at Malatswai village.

The deceased, who was initially found badly injured with a deep stab wound on his left rib side, succumbed to the injury on Saturday morning.

Confirming the matter, No 2 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said a bloody Okapi knife was found beside him. “We received the report around 10pm from a passerby who reported the matter to the police.
