SEROWE: Although he has been encouraged to forgive his adversaries, Bangwato Kgosikgolo and former president Ian Khama cannot forgive one man, the Director General (DG) of the Directorate on Intelligence and Security (DIS), Peter Magosi.

Khama told his subjects last weekend that everyone from the past administration led by former president Mokgweetsi Masisi is all gone except for Magosi. “Go setse e one hela,” he said. Khama has, in the past, not shied away from revealing how the DIS led by Magosi participated in persecuting him and his family during the height of his feud with Masisi.

Khama, who blames Masisi and Magosi for forcing him into self-exile between 2021 and 2024, told Bangwato that the regime change last year took out everyone, but Magosi is the only one remaining. Khama was speaking at Kgosi Sediegeng Kgamane’s ceremony held at Serowe Main Kgotla.
