Livestock smuggling, cross border crimes rampant

Tsabong police are investigating a case in which 41 goats were stolen and smuggled into South Africa.

Station Commander Superintendent Howard Modo told Mmegi that the crime occurred near Maralaleng, a village 55 kilometers east of Tsabong, along the Botswana and SA border fence.

Modo said that livestock smuggling and cross border crimes are rampant in the village.
