FRANCISTOWN: A Letlhakane man is in police custody after he allegedly attacked a family and stabbed a 33-year-old man and killed him after accusing them of knowing what caused his mother's death.

Letlhakane Police Station commander, Superintendent Michael Maphephu said they have arrested the suspect, a man of Sekwe ward in Letlhakane village, in connection to the murder.

He said the suspect allegedly stabbed the man with a sharp instrument leading to his death. Maphephu stated that the suspect was arrested on the same day after committing the crime. “The murder incident took place on Saturday night. The suspect went to the deceased's place and accused his family of knowing what killed his mother,” said the Letlhakane police boss.
