Largest Recovered Botswana Diamond Goes On Show

Lucara Diamond Corp, the Canadian miner whose local subsidiary uncovered the gigantic 341.9 carat diamond beneath the Boteti sub-district soils earlier this month, is due to value the stone soon before taking it on the road for view by select potential clients.

The stone, the 26th largest ever recovered in the world, is expected to fetch millions of US dollars when it eventually goes on sale.

The diamond was recovered from Karowe Mine, owned by Lucara through a wholly-owned subsidiary, Boteti Mining.
