Former Member of Parliament (MP) and businessman, Robert Masitara is accusing the Tlokweng Land Board of harassment after he was denied permission to pave outside his yard. Masitara uses the house as a home office.

After successfully applying to the Land Tribunal to have Masitara remove all carports and chains outside his yard, the Tlokweng Land Board still refused the former MP permission to add the paving.

Communication between the two parties leaked to The Monitor indicates that Masitara applied for permission to do the paving after informing the Land Board in writing that he complied with their orders.  The Land Tribunal had ordered Masitara to remove the carports, shades, and the chains he had erected just outside the yard.
