Khama�s �buddy� eyes Mogoditshane

The self-proclaimed President Ian Khama’s close ally, Tshephang Mabaila is said to be interested in contesting for the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) primary elections in Mogoditshane next March.

Mabaila, who has made no secret in previous interviews with Mmegi about his close relations with Khama, is said to be the man that the ruling party wants.

However, insiders say the former Mogoditshane MP Patrick Masimolole is likely to contest also. Party insiders however say Mabaila is the favourite to win the BDP primaries.
