The Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) has revealed that its patron Ian Khama will take one more lap with the party, following his announcement last weekend in Serowe that he will leave politics to take over the Bangwato throne.

According to BPF officials, Khama will lead the yellow movement on the campaign trail "as a national campaign manager" to bolster the party ahead of next month’s General Election.

BPF president, Mephato Reatile, highlighted that the ex-president of Botswana who has been in self-imposed exile in South Africa and Eswatini, will say his goodbyes as the party starts its exercise to canvass for votes.
