Khama to attend Geingob inauguration

President Ian Khama is scheduled to travel to Windhoek, Namibia tomorrow to attend the Inauguration of Dr. Hage Geingob, President-Elect of Namibia.

Dr. Hage Geingob will be sworn-in as the third President of Namibia.

Botswana and Namibia have enjoyed 25 years of excellent bilateral relations anchored on pre-independence support by Botswana of Namibia's liberation struggle.

The two countries further cooperate as member states of SADC and SACU in various sectors of development.

The inauguration of the President-elect will coincide with the 25th Anniversary the Republic of Namibia's independence.

Khama is expected to return to Botswana late tomorrow, after the day's events.
