Khama made the declaration when he assumed the chieftaincy seat here over the weekend at the Serowe Sports Complex marking his return after political tensions and self-imposed exile. He stated that it is now time to collaborate with the government to improve the livelihoods of Batswana following the regime change. "One of my roles will be to work well with the government. On his immediate action to improve the livelihoods of Bangwato, Khama shared that he will form committees that will work on that. "My role will be to grow our culture and tradition through arts, traditional dance, poems, sports, and recreation by hosting tournaments and events.
