Khama awards excelling cops

President Ian Khama awarded excelling Botswana Police officers at an award ceremony held at the Special Support Group (SSG) parade ground last Friday, ahead of the Police Day celebrations.

Commemorating its 131 years since inception the police service has been seen by many as a contributing factor towards Botswana’s widely acknowledged diplomatic and passive nature.

Khama recognised through an award ceremony the officers behind the police force.The medals were awarded as a way of recognising deserving members of the police service for outstanding conduct in their daily duties.
