Khama arrest imminent

The Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) has ordered former president Ian Khama to report at their Sebele office today to hand over his weapons, Mmegi has learnt.

This instruction comes after the directorate had recently informed the former president, who is also a retired army general, that they will come to his residence to collect the said weapons.

Khama has raised fears that the instruction to report at the DIS Sebele office is but a ploy, “to arrest me out of the public eye".
