Kenyan drug trafficker appeals sentences

FRANCISTOWN: A man from Kenya has made an application to appeal his two sentences of being found in possession of drugs.

Magistrate Kose Makobo sentenced the appellant, Abas Ndyanabo Ismail, on July 6, 2021, in Kasane for the illegal possession of heroin and dagga.

Ismail was sentenced to seven years in jail for unlawfully trafficking in heroin and another five years for trafficking in dagga.
