Intruder rapes 11-year-old girl

The intruder allegedly attacked the girl, who was sleeping alone in her room at around 2am and raped her before fleeing the crime scene on Tuesday. Since it was a rainy night, the suspect's footprints were tracked to where he resides in Lengana cattlepost.

Dibete Police station commander, superintendent Meshack Ranku said prior to this incident, the suspect had allegedly visited the victim’s yard late in the afternoon. Ranku said the suspect, who is currently in custody, gained access into the girl's room through the window.
