The second installment of the Gaborone International Health Expo is scheduled for June 22-24, 2023 in Gaborone under the theme, “The future is health”.

The Expo aims to bring together local and international players in the health and wellness industry under one roof to network and market their products and services and most importantly highlight the advancement of new innovations and technologies to improve health care. The Expo also aims to contribute to health care delivery in Botswana and position the country as the preferred destination for medical tourism.

The Expo is an initiative by Amble Promotions (Pty) Ltd and Kalafhi Medical Centre. According to Kalafhi Marketing Manager Michelle Wright, through the expo, they would like to create a health hub where all stakeholders in the health and related sectors come together under one roof to showcase, network and interact with consumers of health products and services. "The expo will also stimulate conversation on the health sector by sharing information on the latest medical innovations and technologies and readiness for future global pandemics. Traditional practices of the industry are dissolving and new, innovative roles and techniques are emerging," she said.
