About 380 learners, 288 daily consultations and a technology-enabled campus emerge as African Hero puts speed at the heart of delivery. The Duma Boko School & Clinic is designed to put education and healthcare under one roof, creating what African Hero describes as an integrated infrastructure ecosystem for children, families and the surrounding community. And beyond the buildings themselves, the project is being presented as a demonstration of what can happen when speed, modern technology and infrastructure delivery are placed at the centre of development.
African Hero says the project is the first visible, on-the-ground proof of its model, describing it as “a flagship showing how African Hero can move from planning into visible, measurable construction on the ground”. The school is expected to accommodate approximately 380 learners, with seven standard classrooms and four reception classrooms supported by a covered play area. It also includes a dedicated special-needs classroom, a library, resource centre and computer laboratory, facilities intended to move the project beyond simply providing classroom space. African Hero describes the school as a modern, 4IR-enabled primary school, with the broader concept incorporating technology such as Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, CCTV and smart devices.
