SEROWE: In a groundbreaking event that heralds a new era for Botswana's agricultural sector, budding farmers gathered here over the weekend for inaugural Youth Livestock Farmer's Day (YLFD), spearheaded by a young Bonsmara farmer, Thuso Letlhare and his companions.

He emphasised the significance of the event, stressing that it brings together stakeholders from all aspects of the farming industry, including farmers, policymakers, researchers, agribusinesses, and consumers. Letlhare said YLFD represents the spirit of collaboration and inclusivity crucial to advancing agricultural progress.

"Today, we have the opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new technologies, and discuss best practices that can enhance our productivity and sustainability. "This event is a testament to the spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement that drives the agricultural sector forward," he remarked.
