Ignorance lands Facebook user in trouble

A 28-year-old man alleged to have sexually molested a five-year-old girl was detained for two days after being arrested on Friday, Botswana Police spokesperson, Christopher Mbulawa has confirmed.

The alleged paedophile faces a charge of common nuisance after he posted on Facebook that he sexually penetrated the child he was babysitting until she cried out in pain. The suspect is now out on bail.

Mbulawa said that preliminary investigations, however, reveal that the allegations could be false.
