I withdrew from the race � Ngwakwena

MMADINARE: The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) candidate for the secretary general position, Olebeng Ngwakwena, insists he wilfully withdrew from the race at the party’s 36th elective congress in Mmadinare last weekend.

This is contrary to the suggestion that Ngwakwena was snubbed by delegates who did not even nominate him to contest for the elections.

During the elections there was also no indication that Ngwakwena had withdrawn from the elections.
