How is BDF doing for uniform?

Botswana Defence Force (BDF) has returned sub-standard boots that one of their suppliers issued last year, protocol and public affairs officer, Major Bernard Ragalase confirmed yesterday.

He was responding to allegations by BDF soldiers that there was a serious shortage of boots, camouflage and overalls, to the extent that some soldiers were forced to report for duty in plain clothes. 

"We are not facing any crises regarding issuing of uniforms and boots to all members of BDF including those in training," said the army spokesperson.
