How Butale 'lost grip' of his presidency

Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) leaders are currently entangled in a legal battle for the soul of their party.

It has since emerged from the March 20 meeting at Arirang restaurant, Staybridge Hotel that Biggie Butale was trying to reprimand former president Ian Khama, the party patron and his brother Tshekedi Khama amongst others for indiscipline.

This is contained in the minutes of the meeting recorded by Reitumetse Aphiri, the party’s secretary for political education who is also an applicant in the matter before the court.
