FRANCISTOWN: The police in Tonota are searching for a Honda Fit driver who allegedly hit a 63-year-old man, and drove off.

According to Tonota Police acting station commander, Ontibile Motadiile, the Honda Fit driver allegedly hit the 63-year-old pedestrian by the Shashe Bridge turn-off on Saturday evening.

He said that the pedestrian is still being treated for serious injuries at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital.
