Herdsman arrested for fatally stabbing woman

FRANCISTOWN: A 37-year-old herdsman from Shashe Mooke was arrested in connection with stabbing a woman to death in Mokubilo village.

The incident took place on Friday just a day after the ‘E Seng Mo Ngwaneng’ campaign came to an end in Letlhakane and surrounding areas.

The campaign is geared towards putting an end to sexual exploitation, violence and abuse, especially against children. Letlhakane Police Station commander, Michael Maphephu confirmed that they arrested the herdsman for allegedly murdering the woman, aged between 20 and 22, on Saturday morning.
