What began as a love rivalry between two Zimbabwean herders ended in tragedy on Friday afternoon when one was brutally killed and dumped in the bush at Sukunya Lands, on the outskirts of Radisele village.

Palapye Police Station commander, Superintendent Koziba Phuluweni, confirmed the incident, saying a 41-year-old man was killed by his 34-year-old fellow citizen following a fight over an alleged girlfriend.

“Looking at the injuries the deceased has sustained, it looks like the suspect had beaten the deceased on the head with a blunt object, tied his hands and legs, and dragged him to the bush where he abandoned him,” he said.
