Goodhope police investigate murder/suicide

Confirming to be investigating the case, Goodhope police station commander, Superintendent Batshwari Gaobatelwe said on Tuesday morning they received a report that a 28-year-old woman was found in a pool of blood lying in her bed. While investigating the case, the Police also received a suicide report.

Gaobatelwe said the deceased was found by the police lying in a pool of blood with a wound on the neck. It was suspected that the deceased may have been stabbed with a sharp object whilst in her sleep. He further disclosed that the woman’s bedroom door was destroyed hence suspecting that an intruder might have smashed in to gain entry.
