Mogoditshane police are investigating a case in which a 15-year-old boy was found hanging from a tree behind a yard in Metsimotlhabe on Saturday evening.

The teenage boy, who was living with his aunt in Mogoditshane, was doing Form 3 in one of the local junior schools.

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae said after receiving the report of the matter, police rushed to the scene where the teenage boy was taken to Nkoyaphiri Clinic and was certified dead on arrival by the doctors.

"Investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish what caused the young boy's actions because he didn't leave any message behind. His aunt told the police that she was surprised to find him hanging because he didn't show any signs of unhappiness prior to the incident," Lokae said.
