Female armed robber gets bail

KANYE: Five people, including a 33-year-old woman, Keotshepile Mokalake of Sebina, this week appeared before a Kanye magistrate for armed robbery.

The prosecution says Mokalake, together with Tebogo Gobuamang, Hosia Timbe, Teko Kolwane and Mooketsi Moeng robbed Patricia Searobi and Kaelo Searobi of money and goods, all worth P94,374 on July 22, 2015 near Sethugetsane in Kanye, by tying their feet and hands and pointing pistols at them.

Mokalake, who was represented by attorney Friday Leburu, was ordered to pay P1,000 bail. She was also ordered to attend all court sessions and not be involved in any crime as investigations into the case continue.
