Father in custody for sexually assaulting six-year-old daughter

According to Kazungula Police Station acting commander, Assistant Superintendent Sefane Mokgethi, on the fateful late afternoon, the 38-year-old mother had left her boyfriend with the children, one of them being the victim and her siblings aged three and one.

"The couple stays together with their children. On the fateful evening, the mother had gone to visit her relatives in Kazungula, and when she returned home later at night, she found the kids alone, with their father having already left for work. When bathing them, the little girl started crying, and when interrogated, she disclosed having been sexually assaulted by her father, and the mother reported the matter to the police," he said.
