Mmathubudukwane Police Station Commander,Superintendent, Mmoloki Molegale, has expressed concern over the way the youth in his jurisdiction abuse alcohol.

"Our greatest challenge is that a lot of young people drink too much. You would find them drinking on the streets during the day, in the morning and at night. Their drinking habits are worrying. However, we have not recorded any criminal offenses this festive. We recorded 33 traffic offenses," he said.

He explained that 12 people were charged for driving without licenses, while others were charged for careless driving, not putting on seat belts and the use of cellphones while driving. All those offenses were recorded from December 23 till 28, 2022.

He also pointed out that his police station was fully prepared for any eventuality, explaining that the number of the officers on ground is enough to combat crime. His police station covers all the villages in Dinokeng as popularly known such as Mabalane, Sikwane, Malolwane, Mmathubudukwane, Ramonala and Dikwididi.
