Directors steal copper cable valued at P 140, 000

The two men are, a South African man aged 47 and a 68-year-old Indian man were arrested in separate theft incidents. Police stated that the two are directors of two metal scrap yards arrested failed to account for the stolen cables valued at over P77, 000 and P59, 000 respectively.
Botswana Police Service Deputy public Relations Officer, senior superintendent Near Bagali said the cables are suspected to be the property of Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) and Botswana Telecommunications Limited (BTCL).
