Court halts Bargaining Council activities

Efforts to revive collective bargaining in the public service have suffered a fresh setback. Last week, the High Court in Maun ordered that the activities of the Public Service Bargaining Council (PSBC) be suspended pending the determination of a legal challenge brought by the National Amalgamated Local and Government Central and Parastatal Workers Union or Manual Workers Union.
