In a shocking incident that unfolded near Naledi Police Station in Old Naledi, Gaborone, a man was brutally attacked with a pick axe in broad daylight and in full view of a police officer.

The incident, which occurred around 9am on Saturday morning, left a 40-year-old man nursing a fractured left hand after he was struck from behind with the heavy tool by another man who immediately fled the scene.

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae, said they are investigating a case of grievous bodily harm.
