Civic leader roots for improved prize giving ceremonies in schools

PALAPYE: Lecheng-Malaka councillor, Charles Mabjweng has called for a review and improvement of prize giving ceremonies in government-aided schools.

The ceremonies are usually held every year in schools to recognise and honour learners who have done well in their studies and sports.

Responding to Palapye Sub-Council chairman, Lesedi Phuthego’s speech, Mabjweng said that enhanced prize giving ceremonies could help improve the performance of learners in exams as it is a motivating factor.
