Churches adopt cautionary approach to Easter

FRANCISTOWN: Local churches plan to adopt a vigilant approach to COVID-19 as they prepare to assemble and celebrate the Easter holidays.

For the very first time in two years, hordes of Christians are expected to grace their churches in different corners of the country for Easter holidays following prior non-gathering imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

Outgoing president of Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM), Jobe Koosimile said in an interview that when preparing for the Easter celebrations they prioritised safety of the congregants.

The accident which happened near Marapong village comes after yet another horrific accident which claimed 16 lives in July last year near Hubona. These stats don’t include other accidents where fatalities were not as many as the two.While several factors may have contributed to the two accidents and many others, many believe the biggest with that road is the bad state that the road is in.
