Chinese couple robbed in Phakalane violent attack

Police are investigating a case in which a Chinese business couple was attacked and robbed at their residence in Phakalane early Saturday morning by three unknown armed men.

Broadhurst Police Station commander, Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae said they received the report on the matter at around 3am. He said the three masked men allegedly broke into the house, pounced on them in an attack, and started demanding money, threatening them with sharp objects and something that resembled a gun.

“The criminals have destroyed everything in the house from mattresses to the ceiling whilst searching for money.
