FRANCISTOWN: Warring Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) factions will square off against each other in court on Friday (in Gaborone) as they battle for the soul of the party.

Last week, BPF president Biggie Butale and members of his faction approached court on an urgency in a bid to bar the Tshekedi Khama faction from staging activities in the name of the party. The case has since been scheduled for Friday.

Khama is the secretary-general of the BPF. Some of the key BPF members fighting in Butale’s corner are publicity ,Lawrence Ookeditse and ordinary member Ford Moiteela. Tshekedi is backed by Vuyo Notha and Robert Mariba.
