Boy, 16, dies by suicide in Mogoditshane

Mogoditshane police have since launched investigations into the incident. The tragic discovery was made when the teenager was found hanging from the rafters of his bedroom. Confirming the incident, No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, said the matter was reported to the police shortly after the body was discovered.

“The deceased was a Form 3 student at one of the junior secondary schools in Gaborone. According to his parents, they do not know what could have led him to take such an action. He did not leave behind any suicide note,” Sebako said.
