BOPEU Locks Out Mogwera, Marenga

A Botswana Public Employees Union (BOPEU) faction led by Olefile Monakwe has moved to kick out the union president Masego Mogwera and secretary general, Topias Marenga.

After suspending her on Saturday, the faction swiftly changed locks to office door to deny her access as well as move to confiscate the Union cars the two were using.

According to resolutions of the National Executive Committee (NEC) held on Saturday, the Union wants the NEC to investigate allegations that Mogwera misled the Union.
