Boatile ordered to pay P1,000 child support

Boatile will have to raise his budget priorities to include his daughter

MOLEPOLOLE: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) youth wing chairperson, Andy Boatile, has been ordered to pay P1,000 per month in child maintenance for his six-year-old daughter.

The presiding Magistrate, Lindiwe Makgoro made the order yesterday at the Molepolole Magistrate court. “I order that from the date of September 30 2015, Boatile should pay child maintenance of P1,000 until the child turns 18 years, or is able to take care of herself. He is to pay this amount into the mother’s account,” she said.

Boatile was not present in court when the order was made.
