BMWU’s Phiri opens up to Mmegi

In 2020 the Botswana Mine Workers Union (BMWU) appointed business and human rights lawyer Kitso Phillip Phiri as the Executive Secretary (ES). Then, the union seemed to be on a decline. However, since his takeover, Phiri has managed to revolutionise the fortunes of the union and turn it into a likeable entity.
