BMD kicks off Boswelatlou by-election battle

The Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) will soon hold primary elections for the recently vacant Boswelatlou ward by-election, with a writ to be issued soon. The opposition party’s former councillor, Kabelo Sebako, resigned from the seat recently after his employer gave him an ultimatum to choose between politics and his job.

Secretary General, Gilbert Mangole said BMD will be contesting the ward under the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) banner.

Yesterday Mangole said the party had already met over the ward.
