�BIUST catalyst for enterprise�

The Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) council chairperson, Bernard Bolele, has said the role of research at the institution must not be seen only as an academic undertaking.

Officiating at BIUST’s postgraduate open day in the capital on Friday, Bolele said the science and technology institution is mandated with helping industries create more employment opportunities. He added that it is a “catalyst for assisting Batswana to set-up sustainable enterprises informed by these research outcomes”.

Bolele added that the importance of open day cannot be over-emphasised.
