BDP women's wing postpones congress

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) national women’s wing has postponed its congress that was supposed to be held on April 4, 2019 in Kang.

The national women’s wing committee on Monday resolved that the congress should be held after the polls to enable the party to campaign freely for the general elections. 

The committee is supposed to be elected every two years for it to get a new mandate from the members.
